CheerLiving® Episode 48: Cheerleading is for Lovers

Cheerleading is for Lovers:

It’s Valentine’s Day, so we shine the light on all there is to love about cheerleading! And, what’s not to love?

In this video:

Are you stoked on cheerleading? Well, we don’t blame you. There are so many thrilling things in cheerleading that can get you addicted for life. Contrarily, there are a lot of stupid and mundane things in cheerleading that can leave you feeling super aggro, like losing or conditioning day. But, we aren’t going to talk about those things. Because it’s Valentine’s Day, and we’re going to talk about all the things you love about cheerleading.

1. The legacy.
The minute you joined cheer, you joined a long list of cheerleading greatness! Singers, actors, even PRESIDENTS have been cheerleaders.

2. The intensity.
Is being fierce your favorite? I bet being fierce is your favorite… Cheering makes you strong, confident, competitive. You look like a beauty and train like a beast — and nobody knows! It’s talented how you tear it up and look so adorable.

3. The gains.
You train hard and your body appreciates it. How does it repay you? By looking AWESOME. The best part about your gains is you don’t even try to get them. They just… appear.

4. The fashion.
From the classic uniform to custom sublimation, cheer apparel is LIT. Add in some bows and some sweet white cheer shoes, and people can’t help but stare. It’s all good, just let them. #Cheerlebrity status.

5. The support.
The fee payers, the ride givers. Your parents are your ultimate supporters: they’re there for you to celebrate your victories and to give you a shoulder to cry on when you just don’t make the cut. And, let’s be real, you couldn’t afford cheerleading without them.

What’s the thing you love most about cheerleading? Your TEAM. Your teammates are your BFFs, your coach is your mentor and even that one teammate that gets on your last nerve has a place in your heart… because you’re bonded for life. So, go ahead and show your team a little love this Valentine’s Day!
